Bangladeshi killed in Beirut: Body can’t be brought home as flight ops suspended

A 31-year-old Bangladeshi expatriate, Mohammad Nizam from Brahmanbaria, was killed in an Israeli airstrike in Beirut’s Hazmiye area, Lebanon. This marks the first Bangladeshi casualty in the Israel-Hezbollah conflict. His body cannot be repatriated due to suspended flights between Bangladesh and Lebanon amid the ongoing war.
