Anisul, Salman on 5-day remand over possessing, selling foreign currencies illegally

A Dhaka court placed former law minister Anisul Huq and former PM’s adviser Salman F Rahman on a five-day remand each in a foreign exchange regulation case. They were arrested on August 13 while fleeing the capital, carrying various foreign currencies and multiple passports. The police filed a case against them on September 13. The court rejected their bail application and approved the remand to investigate the source of the foreign currencies they possessed.READ FULL
