Anura Kumara Dissanayake takes oath as Sri Lanka’s president

Anura Kumara Dissanayake, a Marxist-leaning politician without political lineage, has been elected as Sri Lanka’s new president. He defeated candidates from established political families, including incumbent President Ranil Wickremesinghe.
