Argentina begin Copa title defence with 2-0 win over Canada

Argentina defeated Canada 2-0 in their Copa America opener in Atlanta. Julian Alvarez scored in the 49th minute, and Lautaro Martinez sealed the win in the 88th. Despite Lionel Messi’s missed chances, Argentina dominated but faced strong resistance from Canada’s goalkeeper Max Crepeau.
