Army conducts raid at DB office

The Bangladesh Army raided the Detective Branch office in Dhaka following detention reports, but found no detainees. The public and media were allowed entry during the inspection. A search of ground floor rooms yielded no trapped individuals. However, Tk13 lakh in cash was discovered in a cupboard, claimed by Sub Inspector Suja as his personal funds withdrawn from the bank for a trip home. Dhaka Tribune
