Bangladesh a key partner of the UN: Guterres tells Hasan

UN Secretary-General António Guterres hailed Bangladesh as a key partner making significant contributions to various UN programs during a meeting with Foreign Minister AK Abdul Momen in New York. Guterres appreciated Bangladesh’s generosity towards Rohingya refugees while expressing concern over the situation in Myanmar’s Rakhine state. The UN chief assured full support for Bangladesh’s transition after graduating from a low-income country.
