Bangladesh ranked 84th out of 127 countries in the 2024 Global Hunger Index, dropping three places from last year. Despite this, the country has shown notable improvement since 2016, reducing its score by over 5 points. Bangladesh’s hunger level is categorized as “moderate” with a score of 19.4. The index considers factors like undernourishment, child stunting, wasting, and mortality.
