Bangladesh receives $1.15b in third tranche

The IMF has disbursed $1.15 billion to Bangladesh as the third tranche of a $4.7 billion loan, boosting the country’s foreign exchange reserves to $26.5 billion. This follows previous installments of $476.3 million in February 2023 and $681 million in December 2023.
