BGB deployed in Dhaka, 6 other districts

Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) has been deployed in multiple cities including Dhaka, Chattogram, Rajshahi, Rangpur, Faridpur, Bogura, and Cox’s Bazar to maintain law and order amid ongoing clashes related to the quota reform movement. This deployment follows yesterday’s escalation of violence, which resulted in at least six deaths, including three students, and hundreds of injuries in clashes between quota protesters, Chhatra League activists, and police across the country.
