Cannot push back Bangladeshi refugees, Mizoram CM tells Modi

Mizoram Chief Minister Lalduhoma informed Prime Minister Modi that the state cannot deport Zo ethnic refugees from Bangladesh’s Chittagong Hill Tracts. Nearly 2,000 refugees, mostly from the Bawm tribe, have sought shelter in Mizoram since 2022 due to military action against the Kuki-Chin National Army.
