Carsley appointed as interim England manager

Lee Carsley, currently England’s under-21 manager, has been appointed as temporary manager of the senior England national team. The FA announced that Carsley will lead the Three Lions in their upcoming Nations League matches against Ireland and Finland in September. His tenure could extend further depending on how quickly the FA selects a permanent replacement for Gareth Southgate. AFP
