Obaidul Quader, the Road Transport and Bridges Minister of Bangladesh and General Secretary of the ruling Awami League party, left Dhaka for Singapore on Tuesday morning for a routine medical check-up. He departed from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 8 am on a Biman Bangladesh Airlines flight and is expected to undergo the check-up at Mount Elizabeth Hospital in Singapore before returning home soon.
