The Digital Media Forum (DMF) honored five journalists with the ‘Digital Media Excellence Award 2024’ and six individuals with special excellence awards for their contributions to media and digital sectors. The award-winning journalists are Eiahia Nakib, SM Marzan Ivan, Jafar Iqbal, Sabbin Hasan, and Yeasin Hasan. DMF introduced the award to uplift Bangladesh’s digital media industry to international standards. Officials highlighted the need for fostering excellence, professionalism, and responsible journalism in digital platforms during the ceremony.
