Former Chief Justice ABM Khairul Haque has resigned as chairman of the Bangladesh Law Commission, citing health reasons. He submitted his resignation to the law ministry yesterday. Justice Haque was serving his third term as chairman, having been appointed in October 2022. He previously served as Bangladesh’s 19th chief justice from 2010 to 2011.
