China launches anti-dumping probe into imported EU, US chemical

China has initiated an anti-dumping investigation into imports of a crucial engineering plastic called polyoxymethylene copolymer from the European Union, United States, Taiwan, and Japan. The probe will last up to a year and a half and comes amid escalating trade tensions, with the EU recently launching investigations into China’s alleged unfair trade practices and the US raising tariffs on Chinese imports.
