Claudia Sheinbaum set to be Mexico’s first woman president: exit polls

Mexico is set to elect Claudia Sheinbaum as its first woman president, according to exit polls. Sheinbaum, representing the ruling party, won around 58% of votes. Her victory marks a milestone in a country plagued by rampant criminal and gender-based violence.
