Cold run of diesel generator completed at Rooppur Nuclear Plant’s unit 1

The first cold run of a diesel generator at Unit 1 of the Rooppur Nuclear Power Plant in Bangladesh has been completed. The test, conducted in two stages, is part of the commissioning process for this critical safety system. Rosatom, the Russian contractor, emphasized the importance of quality control and testing.
