Complaint lodged against 53 including Hasina, 28 journalists for inciting genocide
A complaint has been filed with the International Crimes Tribunal against former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and 52 others, including 28 journalists, for allegedly inciting genocide during the recent student protests in Bangladesh. The complaint, lodged by a Supreme Court lawyer on behalf of a deceased student’s father, accuses Hasina of making provocative statements and ordering suppression of the movement. The journalists are accused of encouraging aggression against protesters through their questioning during a press conference.
