Cyclone Remal: ‘Never saw water level this high’
Cyclone Remal battered Pirojpur district, leaving a trail of destruction. It inundated villages, uprooted trees, and damaged houses, stranding thousands. The storm washed away croplands, fish farms, and disrupted utilities. Locals described unprecedented high water levels, with most houses flooded.
