Dengue and its ramifications in student dormitories

Since last April, Bangladesh has seen an increase in dengue outbreaks, resulting in a total of 321,179 cases recorded in 2023. The incidence of this disease is higher in student dormitories. A student from Chittagong Medical College reported that the number of mosquitoes has increased due to lack of cleanliness. A BUET student said many students are contracting dengue, which is hampering their studies. However, adequate precautionary measures are being taken at the Armed Forces Medical College.
