DGHS issues 4-point guidelines to prevent heatstroke
The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) has issued guidelines to prevent heatstroke amid the intense heatwave gripping the country. The key recommendations include staying in shade, drinking plenty of safe water, avoiding street food, wearing light-colored loose clothes, and seeking medical help if experiencing symptoms like cessation of sweating, nausea, severe headache, increased body temperature, decreased appetite, burning sensation, convulsions or fainting.
