Dhaka airport 3rd terminal: Opening not before 2026

Dhaka’s Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport’s third terminal opening has been delayed until 2026, despite 98% completion. The delay is due to pending recommendations from a consultant on the terminal’s operation and maintenance. The Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh (CAAB) needs to finalize agreements, train staff, and conduct trial runs before opening.
