DU vice-chancellor, seven provosts, resign

Dhaka University’s Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Maksud Kamal and provosts of seven halls reportedly resigned on Saturday following student protests. The protests, held Friday, demanded resignations of key university officials. Prof. Kamal, appointed as the 29th VC in November 2023, faced calls to step down along with other administrators.
