Education Adviser calls for end to forced teacher resignations

Wahiduddin Mahmud, education and planning adviser in Bangladesh’s interim government, has called for an immediate end to forced resignations and harassment of teachers nationwide. During a meeting with Education Ministry officials, he condemned these practices as unacceptable. Mahmud stated that corruption allegations would be investigated by relevant authorities and directed institutions to enforce disciplinary codes.
