Eight killed in Pakistan suicide bombing

A suicide bomber on a motorbike rickshaw attacked a checkpoint near Mir Ali in Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, killing eight people, including four police officers, and wounding five others. The attack, claimed by “Aswad ul-Harb,” comes amid rising insurgency since the Taliban’s return to power in Afghanistan in 2021.
