Elon Musk plans supercomputer to power xAI’s Grok: report

Elon Musk’s AI startup xAI is reportedly planning to build a massive supercomputer, four times larger than current GPU clusters, to power the next version of its chatbot Grok. Musk aims to get the supercomputer, potentially developed in partnership with Oracle, running by fall 2025. It would utilize Nvidia’s H100 GPUs, with Musk stating Grok 3 and beyond will require 100,000 of these powerful chips.
