Elon Musk’s X faces privacy complaints in Europe over data use

By Redoy K

Privacy group Noyb filed complaints against X (formerly Twitter) in eight European countries, alleging unlawful use of user data for AI training without consent. This follows Ireland’s Data Protection Commission’s recent action against X. Noyb claims X fed data from over 60 million European users into its Grok AI technology without informing them. The group seeks full compliance with EU’s GDPR and has requested an urgency procedure against X. AFP
