Ex-Ctg MP Latif in army custody

Former MP Abdul Latif, an Awami League member, was taken into custody by the army in Chattogram’s Madarbari area. He had been hiding at a relative’s house since Sheikh Hasina’s resignation on Monday. The arrest occurred around 6:30pm when BNP activists were allegedly attempting to attack him. Latif previously represented the Chattogram-11 constituency in parliament. Daily Star
