Ex-justice Manik gets bail in case over attempting to flee to India

Former Supreme Court judge AHM Shamsuddin Chowdhury Manik was granted bail in a case related to his attempted illegal entry into India. He was arrested by BGB on August 23 at the Dona border. Despite receiving bail in this case, the Sylhet court ordered him to remain in jail due to several other pending cases against him.
