Fahamedul leaves Bangladesh team, flies back to Italy

Italy-based Bangladeshi footballer Fahamedul Islam has left the Bangladesh football team and returned to Italy after falling short of head coach Javier Cabrera’s expectations. The 18-year-old, who plays for fourth division club Olbia Calcio 1905, was included in Bangladesh’s preliminary squad for the Asian Cup Qualifier against India on March 25.
