Father arrested over 8-year-old’s death in Dhaka

An eight-year-old boy, Md Zubayer, was allegedly beaten to death by his father, Selim Mia, in Dhaka’s Pallabi area. The parents were divorced, and the child lived with his mother. The father had recently taken the boy to his home. When neighbors rushed the child to a hospital after the beating, he was declared dead.
