Form minority commission

The Sanatan Adhikar Parishad, a Hindu rights group in Bangladesh, met with Chief Adviser Prof Muhammad Yunus to present an eight-point demand, including the formation of a minority commission. They called for investigations into attacks on Hindu homes and places of worship, and prosecution of perpetrators. Yunus assured the delegation that the interim government is committed to protecting minority rights and has implemented measures to prevent attacks on minorities. The meeting was also attended by other government advisers.
