Four cops among 8 accused of extrajudicial killing of BNP activist

A case has been filed against eight individuals, including Rajshahi’s Deputy Inspector General of Police Anisur Rahman, for the alleged extrajudicial killing of BNP activist Abu Sayed in 2015 in Jashore. The victim’s wife filed the case, claiming Sayed was arrested, beaten, and later killed in a staged “crossfire” incident. The court has ordered an investigation to be completed within 15 days.
