Hatem elected BKMEA president

Mohammad Hatem was elected as the new president of Bangladesh Knitwear Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BKMEA) following AKM Salim Osman’s resignation due to health issues. Osman had held the position since 2010, skipping five elections. Fazlee Shamim Ehsan was elected executive president and Mansoor Ahmed as senior vice president. The board accepted Osman’s resignation at a meeting where he participated via videoconference.
