IGP Mamun’s tenure extended for a ‘record’ second time

The Bangladeshi government has extended Inspector General of Police Chowdhury Abdullah Al-Mamun’s tenure for another year under contract. This marks his second extension, making him the first IGP to receive two extensions. The extension begins July 12 or from his joining date.
