Dinesh Karthik, 38, is pushing for a spot in India’s T20 World Cup squad with his stellar form in the ongoing IPL season. The wicketkeeper-batter has scored 226 runs in 6 innings at an average of 75.33 and a strike rate of 205.45 while excelling as a finisher for RCB. Karthik, whose last India appearance was in the 2022 T20 World Cup, is keen to represent the country again and believes he is “100% ready” for the upcoming mega event in the West Indies and USA. However, he respects the decision of the team management led by Rahul Dravid, Rohit Sharma, and Ajit Agarkar. PHOTO: AFP
