International Crimes Tribunal issues arrest warrant for Hasina
The International Crimes Tribunal in Bangladesh has issued an arrest warrant for former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, along with 49 others, over alleged mass killings during the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement in July-August. The tribunal began proceedings on Thursday, with prosecutors requesting warrants for 50 individuals. Over 60 complaints have been filed against Hasina, Awami League leaders, and others for enforced disappearances and murders. The chief prosecutor stated that Interpol’s help would be sought to bring back fugitives, including Hasina, who are abroad.READ FULL
