Interpol bids to identify 46 dead ‘cold case’ women

Interpol has expanded its “Identify Me” campaign to identify 46 deceased women found across Europe, many victims of murder or suspicious deaths. The initiative, now including Belgium, Germany, Netherlands, France, Italy, and Spain, builds on a 2023 campaign that received 1,800 public tips. Last year, the campaign successfully identified Rita Roberts, a British woman found dead in Belgium 31 years ago, through a distinctive tattoo.
