Israel defence minister says Gaza offensive expands, will seize ‘large areas’

Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz announced Wednesday a major expansion of military operations in Gaza, stating the army will seize “large areas” to create Israeli security zones. Katz did not specify how much territory Israel would take, but had warned last week of “full force” operations in additional parts of Gaza.
