Judge warns Trump over audible ‘cursing’ as Stormy testifies

The judge in Donald Trump’s hush money trial stated that the former president was “cursing audibly” and shaking his head in a “contemptuous” manner during Stormy Daniels’ testimony on Tuesday. Judge Juan Merchan warned Trump’s lawyers to temper their client’s behavior, noting it had the potential to intimidate the witness and jury. Trump’s attorneys unsuccessfully sought a mistrial based on Daniels’ explicit testimony about their alleged affair.
