Khaleda Zia receives renewed passport

BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia has received a renewed passport, confirmed by her party’s media cell. The renewal process was completed on Tuesday, with her personal secretary collecting the new machine-readable passport. Zia, who was imprisoned for corruption charges, was released on executive order following Sheikh Hasina’s resignation as prime minister amid protests.
