Lightning kills 4 people in Khulna

Four people, including an 8-year-old child, died in separate lightning strikes across three upazilas of Khulna, Bangladesh. The incidents occurred in Koyra, Botighata, and Paikgasa upazilas during afternoon rains. The victims were identified as Enayet Ali (37), Nazmul (8), Srikanth Mondal (25), and Al Mamun (17). One person, Musa Gazi, was seriously injured. Local authorities confirmed the deaths and have handed over the bodies to the families. Source UNB
