Mamata ‘sat in darkness’ during Modi’s oath-taking

Trinamool Congress lawmaker Sagarika Ghose said West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee switched off all lights and sat in darkness at her home during Narendra Modi’s swearing-in as Prime Minister on Sunday. Ghose claimed Modi had “lost the mandate” and should be replaced as BJP leader despite winning a third term. The TMC boycotted the ceremony while the main opposition Congress attended.
