Man held over rape of 6-year-old girl

Dinajpur police arrested Saju Mia, 25, on Thursday night for allegedly raping a six-year-old girl in Ghoraghat. According to Officer-in-Charge Md Asaduzzaman Asad, the incident occurred Tuesday afternoon when the child was returning from a nearby shop. Saju allegedly attacked her with a sharp weapon and committed the assault. The suspect, from Loharband Uttarpara area, is now in custody facing charges. Source:Daily Star
