Mass protest: Student assaulted by AL men dies in Kurigram

Ashiqur Rahman Ashiq, a 23-year-old student from Kurigram, died at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University in Dhaka on September 1, 2024. He had been undergoing treatment since August 4, when he sustained head injuries during a clash between students and Awami League supporters during the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement. Ashiq, a second-year graduate student at Panchpir Degree College, was not affiliated with any political party according to his family.
