Menstrual Hygiene Day observed

Menstrual Hygiene Day was celebrated on Tuesday to raise awareness and break the stigma around menstruation, ensuring women and girls can manage their periods safely and with dignity. The theme was “Together for a #PeriodFriendlyWorld.” Menstrual Health and Hygiene Platform hosted an event showcasing transformative stories, government commitments, and innovative solutions. Speakers highlighted the need for collaborative efforts to improve menstrual health management in Bangladesh. A youth assembly provided a platform for younger participants to share their experiences and perspectives on menstrual health challenges.
