Meryl Streep to be honoured with Palme d’Or at Cannes Film Festival

Veteran actress Meryl Streep will be honored with the prestigious honorary Palme d’Or at the opening ceremony of the 77th Cannes Film Festival on May 14. This marks Streep’s celebrated return to Cannes after winning Best Actress in 1989. The star-studded festival lineup includes films by Francis Ford Coppola, Paul Schrader, and George Miller. Greta Gerwig will serve as the jury president.
