Midnight chaos as BCL attacks sit-in at JU

Quota reform protesters at Jahangirnagar University held a sit-in demonstration in front of the Vice Chancellor’s residence, protesting an earlier attack by Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) members. Around midnight, the protesters took shelter inside the VC’s compound as BCL members again threw brickbats at them. Earlier, at least 50 students were injured in a two-hour-long BCL attack during a protest march. Police are trying to control the situation.
