Ministry asks BRTA to remove unfit vehicles from streets

The Environment Ministry has urged BRTA to remove buses and minibuses over 20 years old, and trucks and covered-vans exceeding 25 years from roads to combat air pollution. The ministry also requested mandatory emission testing for old diesel vehicles during fitness checks.
