‘Model Girl’ actress Smriti Biswas passes away at 100

Veteran Indian actress Smriti Biswas passed away at 100 in Nashik, Maharashtra. She began her career as a child artist in 1930 and worked in Bengali, Marathi, and Hindi cinema. Biswas starred alongside notable actors and worked with renowned directors. Her last Hindi film, “Model Girl” (1960), earned critical acclaim.
